Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of Loopisy, including the native iOS and Android mobile applications and our public website at loopisy.com (marketing, support, and legal pages only — Loopisy Premium subscriptions are sold only through in-app purchase on the Apple App Store and Google Play when available, not on the web). Loopisy is operated by Vasilache Viorel Catalin, sole proprietor, Bd. Metalurgiei 81C-81D, Sector 4, București, Romania. Loopisy is the app and service name; the publisher on the App Store and Google Play is Vasilache Viorel Catalin. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and is part of your agreement with us.
The authoritative Privacy Policy, Terms, and Support pages are hosted on this website. The mobile app does not embed a separate copy of those documents — it links to the URLs below (for example during onboarding, in settings, and in store listings). By using the app and following those links, you agree to the current versions on the web.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Loopisy (including the mobile app or our public website), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the service. You confirm that you meet the age and eligibility requirements in Section 3. Your continued use of the service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your jurisdiction, those laws prevail over any conflicting provision in these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Loopisy is a collaborative life-planning application built around shared Spaces. You create or join a Space and use modules such as: a calendar with events (including reminders, recurrence, and categories); rich-text notes; to-do lists, checklists, and shopping lists; meal plans and recipes (including generating a shopping list from meal plans using rule-based logic — not artificial intelligence); and travel lists (itineraries, reservations, budgets, and timelines). Members of a Space can view and edit shared content, with changes syncing in real time. Activity in a Space may trigger push notifications to other members who have enabled notifications.
Collaboration is private to each Space. Users invite others by entering an email address associated with another Loopisy account; invitations are delivered in the app (Loopisy does not send invitation emails on your behalf). Content is not published via public or unlisted links — only Space members can access Space content. The app is available in English, Romanian, and French, with additional languages planned.
The service is offered on a free tier and on an optional auto-renewing paid subscription branded Loopisy Premium, purchased only through the Apple App Store or Google Play in the native apps (not on the web).
Free tier includes, among other limits shown in the app:
- 1 owned Space per account
- 1 non-admin invite slot per Space (one additional member you invite)
- 1 list per feature type per Space (for example one shopping list, one to-do list, one travel list, etc.)
- Lower calendar event query limits than Premium
- Banner advertisements (Google AdMob) on most app screens; ads are not shown on authentication, paywall, or onboarding screens
Loopisy Premium unlocks unlimited owned Spaces, unlimited member invites, unlimited lists per feature type, higher calendar limits, premium Space tier for Spaces you administer, and removes in-app banner advertising. Premium is provided under the entitlement inspo_plan_pro via monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, as described in Section 9.
Limits and benefits may evolve as we improve the product; the in-app paywall and your account settings reflect what applies to your account at any given time.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Maintenance, updates, outages, or third-party failures (including Firebase, app stores, or network providers) may affect availability.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the service at any time, including free-tier limits, Premium benefits, or supported platforms. Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable advance notice of material adverse changes. Price changes for subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google as described in Section 9.
3. Eligibility
Loopisy is a general-audience app. We welcome users of all ages where permitted by law, subject to the minimum age requirements in Section 3. The service is not directed to children under 13.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create and use your own Loopisy account. If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Romania, the minimum age is 16, consistent with the applicable digital consent age under the GDPR and UK GDPR, unless verifiable parental or guardian consent is obtained where your local law permits use between 13 and 16.
Parents and guardians may invite family members who meet the minimum age into shared Spaces. You are responsible for ensuring that anyone you invite is eligible to use the service and for content they can access in Spaces you administer.
If you are under 18 in any jurisdiction, you represent that you have obtained your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the service. By using the service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age. If we become aware that a user does not meet the eligibility requirements, we will terminate that account and delete associated data.
4. User Accounts and Registration
You must create an account to use Loopisy. Supported sign-in methods are:
- Email and password — registration, login, and password reset
- Google Sign-In — login
- Sign in with Apple — login on iOS
During registration or onboarding, the app presents links to these Terms and our Privacy Policy at loopisy.com/terms and loopisy.com/privacy. By creating an account and using the service, you confirm that you have read and agree to them.
Loopisy does not require access to your camera, photo library, device location, contacts, or microphone. We use Firebase App Check to help protect backend services from abuse. The app may request push notification permission (invitations and collaborative alerts), uses internet access for cloud sync, and on Android may use vibration for notification feedback. Loopisy does not currently implement Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, current, and complete registration information
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately at support@loopisy.com of any unauthorized use of your account
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
5. Spaces and Collaboration
Spaces are shared workspaces where you and invited members can create, view, and edit content in real time.
Space Admin: The user who creates a Space is designated as the Space Admin. The Space Admin may invite and remove members, transfer the Admin role, and delete the entire Space (which permanently removes all content in that Space for all members). If the Space Admin deletes their account, the Space and all its content will be permanently deleted unless the Admin role has first been transferred to another member.
Member access and visibility: When you invite someone to a Space by email address, we store that email in Firestore even if they have not registered yet. Once they join, they can view and edit all content in that Space, the same as other members. You are solely responsible for whom you invite and for understanding that shared data is visible to every member.
No external sharing: Space content is not accessible via public links. Loopisy does not offer a native operating-system share sheet to publish Space content outside the app.
Notifications: In group Spaces, changes by one member may trigger push notifications to other members who have notifications enabled. Individual Spaces do not send member-activity notifications to others. Event reminders follow your notification settings. Manage preferences in the app and in device settings.
Free and Premium limits: On the free tier you may own one Space, invite up to one non-admin member per Space, create one list per feature type per Space, and are subject to lower calendar event query limits, as shown in the app. Loopisy Premium removes these limits (unlimited Spaces, invites, and lists), applies premium Space tier, raises calendar limits, and removes banner advertising. See Section 2 and Section 9.
Removal from a Space: When a Space Admin removes a member, that member immediately loses access to all content within that Space, including content they created. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from removal from a Space.
Disputes: Disputes between Space members are solely between those users. We have no obligation to mediate or resolve such disputes.
Abuse reporting: Users who experience harmful conduct by another Space member may contact us at support@loopisy.com to report the issue.
6. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within the service (lists, notes, events, plans, recipes, and similar items).
By using the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, synchronize, and display your content solely as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service (including collaboration, push notifications, offline cache, and backups). This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where retention is permitted under these Terms or our Privacy Policy. This license does not permit us to share or sublicense your content to third parties except to our sub-processors acting on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, as listed in our Privacy Policy.
Shared Spaces: Content you add to a Space is visible to all current and future members of that Space until it is deleted or the Space is removed. Do not put information in a shared Space that you are not willing for all members to see and edit.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit your content and that your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful, without prior notice. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed by content on the platform, please contact us at support@loopisy.com with a description of the alleged infringement and the content in question.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Loopisy for any of the following:
- Any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
- Uploading, storing, or sharing illegal content or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights
- Harassing, abusing, threatening, or harming others
- Sending spam, bulk, or abusive Space invitations or other unsolicited communications through the service
- Transmitting malware, spam, or any content that could damage or impair the service
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our systems
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the app
- Circumventing any usage limits or access controls
- Any activity that violates these Terms or applicable law
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for any violation of this section.
8. Third-Party Services
Loopisy uses the following third-party services to operate the app. A detailed list of sub-processors and the data they process appears in our Privacy Policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, App Check) and Google Cloud Functions (europe-west1) — authentication, storage, push infrastructure, security, and server-side jobs
- Google Sign-In — OAuth login
- Sign in with Apple (Apple Inc.) — OAuth login on iOS
- RevenueCat Inc. — subscriptions, paywall, Customer Center, and entitlement webhooks
- Apple App Store and Google Play — app distribution and subscription payment processing (Google Play when available)
- Google AdMob — banner advertising for eligible free-tier users, with consent via Google User Messaging Platform where required
- Expo (EAS) — app builds and over-the-air JavaScript updates
- Vercel Inc. — hosting of this website
We do not use the Facebook SDK, OpenAI or other generative-AI APIs, Stripe, or dedicated third-party analytics vendors in Loopisy.
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Where we act as a controller and appoint processors under the GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on appropriate contractual terms offered by those providers (including data processing addenda or equivalent terms) where available and as required by applicable law. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
9. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions (Loopisy Premium)
In-app disclosures before purchase: The paywall and store purchase sheet must present the subscription name, length (monthly or yearly), price, auto-renewal terms, and how to cancel, consistent with this Section and Apple/Google requirements. By subscribing you acknowledge those disclosures.
Product and platforms: Loopisy Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the benefits described in Section 2 and removes in-app banner advertising. Subscriptions are offered only through the native iOS and Android apps via in-app purchase. Loopisy does not process card payments directly, and store checkout for Premium is not available on the web version of the service.
Subscription products: Premium is delivered under the RevenueCat entitlement inspo_plan_pro. Store product identifiers are:

Price and billing cycle: The price, currency, billing period (monthly or yearly), and any taxes are shown in the App Store or Google Play purchase flow before you confirm payment. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date, as described below.
Merchant of record and payment terms: For purchases initiated on iOS, Apple is the merchant of record for App Store transactions. For purchases initiated on Android, Google Play handles billing. By subscribing, you agree to the then-current platform terms and payment rules (including those relating to price, tax display, introductory offers where available, and billing disclosures shown at purchase).
Our role and entitlement sync: We grant access to Premium functionality inside Loopisy when your account reflects an active inspo_plan_pro entitlement in our systems. RevenueCat webhooks and our server-side processes (Google Cloud Functions) update the isPremium flag in Firestore when Apple or Google report subscription events. We do not set the final transaction price on your device; the price, currency, and tax presentation at checkout are determined by the store and RevenueCat as presented to you at the time of purchase.
Account binding: Your subscription is associated with your Loopisy account (Firebase Authentication user identifier). You should remain signed in with the same account on your devices to receive consistent access to Premium features.
Spaces and tiers: Certain per-Space limits for lists, calendar usage, and related capabilities depend on your subscription status and the tier of each Space, as implemented in the app. Where you are the Space Admin, Space tier may be updated when your Premium status changes, which can affect all members of those Spaces.
Auto-renewal: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown for that renewal in the store, unless a different price was communicated to you as required by applicable law or platform rules.
Cancellation: You must cancel through the platform where you subscribed. On iOS, open Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Loopisy (or the equivalent path on your device). On Android, cancel in the Google Play subscription center for this app. The app may also link to RevenueCat Customer Center or store subscription management URLs. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Premium until the end of the current paid period unless the store rules provide otherwise.
Price changes: Subscription prices may change for future billing periods. Apple and Google will notify you and obtain any consent required by their policies and applicable law before charging a new price. If you do not accept a price increase, cancel before the next renewal through your store subscription settings.
Taxes and refunds: Applicable taxes may be charged as determined by the platform. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not charge your payment method directly and we cannot issue refunds ourselves. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple or Google in accordance with their policies and applicable law; we do not control individual refund decisions by the stores. On iOS, see Apple's refund guidance; on Android, use Google Play's refund and support flows.
Restore purchases and Customer Center: You may use Restore purchases on the paywall or Premium screen, or subscription management tools such as RevenueCat Customer Center (linked from the app), to recover entitlements on a new device. After restore or a new install, Premium access may take a short time to update while our systems reconcile with the store and RevenueCat.
Introductory offers, trials, and renewal pricing: Introductory prices, free trials, or promotional periods, if offered, are those shown in the purchase flow at the time you subscribe. The recurring renewal price for a subsequent period may differ from an introductory rate where permitted by the platform and applicable law; Apple, Google, or we (through the paywall) will present applicable pricing information as required before you are charged.
When Premium ends: If your subscription expires, is cancelled, or is revoked by the platform (for example after a refund or billing failure), your account will return to non-Premium status, free-tier limits and advertising (where applicable) will apply again, and Space tier rules for Spaces you administer will update in line with the implementation described in the app.
Billing disputes: Questions about charges on your Apple ID or Google Play account should first be directed to Apple or Google through their respective support channels. We will reasonably cooperate with good-faith inquiries sent to our contact email when they relate to access to Loopisy features.
EU/UK Right of Withdrawal: If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. However, by confirming your purchase and requesting immediate access to digital content, you consent to the performance beginning immediately and acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal for that content, as permitted under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
We reserve the right to modify Premium features, subscription offerings, or free-tier limits over time, with reasonable advance notice where required by applicable law. Changes will not deprive you of features you already paid for during an active paid period except as permitted by law and platform rules.
10. Advertising
Eligible free-tier users may see in-app banner ads on most screens, served through Google AdMob. Ads are not shown on authentication, paywall, or onboarding screens. We request non-personalized ads only and do not use Apple ATT or IDFA for cross-app advertising. Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) may collect ad consent from users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland; you can change your choice in the app under Account → Ad privacy choices. See our Privacy Policy — Ad choices. We do not control the specific content of third-party advertisements.
Premium subscribers will not be shown in-app banner advertisements as part of their subscription.
11. Intellectual Property
Loopisy, including its design, features, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by Vasilache Viorel Catalin and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the app or its content without our express written permission. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
NOTHING IN THIS SECTION EXCLUDES WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE MANDATORY LAW, INCLUDING CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS IN YOUR JURISDICTION.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL NET AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR LOOPISY PREMIUM FOR YOUR ACCOUNT IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (AS RECORDED BY THE APPLICABLE APP STORE OR GOOGLE PLAY AND ATTRIBUTABLE TO THIS APP, EXCLUDING TAXES AND PLATFORM FEES WE DO NOT RECEIVE), OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100). IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FOR PREMIUM IN THAT PERIOD, ONLY SUBPARAGRAPH (B) APPLIES FOR PURPOSES OF THIS CAP.
NOTWITHSTANDING THE ABOVE, NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS OR EXCLUDES OUR LIABILITY FOR: (A) DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE; (B) FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION; (C) ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE MANDATORY LAW, INCLUDING APPLICABLE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS IN THE EUROPEAN UNION, UNITED KINGDOM, OR ANY OTHER JURISDICTION WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED.
In jurisdictions that do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vasilache Viorel Catalin and its affiliates, officers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you submit that infringes applicable law or third-party rights
- Any dispute between you and another user arising from your conduct
This indemnification obligation does not apply to users located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom where such obligations are unenforceable against consumers under applicable consumer protection law. We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice before termination except in cases of serious violation.
You may delete your account at any time via Account → Edit Profile → Delete Account (two-step confirmation in the app).
What account deletion does: Deletes your Firestore user profile (users/{uid}) and your Firebase Authentication account.
What account deletion does not do:
- Cancel Apple App Store or Google Play billing — you must cancel subscriptions separately (the app warns you before deletion)
- Guarantee erasure of all content you contributed in group Spaces. Events, lists, notes, and similar items may remain, including metadata referencing you (such as editor ID or display name). Automated full cleanup of collaborative content is not guaranteed at this time
- Remove every invitation, feedback record, or other Firestore entry that may reference you — some records may persist depending on cleanup rules
Deleting a Space: A Space Admin may delete an entire Space, which removes all content in that Space for all members. If you need data removed from a shared Space without deleting the Space, contact the Space Admin or email support@loopisy.com. See our Privacy Policy (Section 7) for retention and erasure details.
Removal from a Space by Admin: If a Space Admin removes you from a Space, you immediately lose access to its content, including content you created. The Admin may later delete the Space entirely.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — shall remain in effect after termination.
16. Data, Privacy and Your Rights
Your use of Loopisy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR (as applicable):
- Right of access — to request a copy of your personal data
- Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data (see Section 15 and our Privacy Policy Section 7; shared Space content may persist after account deletion)
- Right to restriction of processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to object to processing
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@loopisy.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Romania, the ANSPDCP; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk).
17. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. Please contact us at support@loopisy.com with a description of your concern. We will endeavor to resolve disputes within 30 days of receiving notice.
Users in the EU, EEA, or United Kingdom: If your dispute is not resolved through negotiation, you may submit it to your local courts or pursue alternative dispute resolution through your national consumer protection authority. Romanian law governs these Terms, but mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply where they offer greater protection. The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Users in the United States: Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by contacting us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. This arbitration clause does not apply to claims that may be brought in small claims court.
Class Actions: For users in the United States, you agree to resolve any dispute on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action or representative proceeding, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This waiver does not apply to users in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions where such waivers are unenforceable under consumer protection law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections afforded by the law of your country of habitual residence.
Subject to mandatory consumer protection rules and Section 17, the courts of Bucharest, Romania have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms if you are a business user or where no mandatory consumer forum applies. If you are an EU/EEA/UK consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where that right is guaranteed by law.
If you access the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge that you have also agreed to their applicable terms of service.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app, on our website, or via the email address associated with your account, with at least 14 days' advance notice for material changes.
Your continued use of the service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the service and may delete your account.
20. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
These Terms are written in English. Where we provide a translation for convenience, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by mandatory local law.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
